Charles J. Lewis III Resilience Education Fund Created

This fund is with Resilience Education, through the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation.

The money supports education for those who are incarcerated and mentoring post-release.

More than 1,000 certificates in business have been given to incarcerated learners, says the director of the program.

The program also provides mentoring to those who have been released from prison.

It also provides financial support to those that have been incarcerated.
